History of the Iraqi National Anthem
The current Iraqi national anthem is an Arab national anthem by the Palestinian poet Ibrahim Touqan and composed by the Lebanese musician Muhammad Fleifel. The song was adopted by the head of the Coalition Provisional Authority, Paul Bremer, after the US invasion of Iraq in 2003 AD. The national anthem before that was the anthem of the land of the Euphrates

Since the founding of the modern state of Iraq in 1921 CE, and with every major change in the regime, the Iraqi national anthem, in turn, was subject to change. With the succession of different regimes, five national anthems were produced in Iraq in a period of less than one century.
